Seems Other People think Movixo Sucks -- Multi-Million Dollar Lawsuit against MovixoI have had a chance to talk to a few people who were prior subscribers to Movixo, the practices used in the company seem the same across the board. Sure they start you out with a free trial, but by the time you get the movies your trial is over. Mailing of the DVDs is not done in a timely manner. Even with their early mailing program people still wait and wait for DVDs. The fun thing about unlimited rental that Netflix then blockbuster brought to the Internet was to make it so you could get a ton of movies. With Netflix you mail a DVD and wammo you get a DVD, with movixo you mail a dvd and you mail another and another and all of a sudden you get three back a week later. The company does NOT pay out on time as documented by many of their affiliates. Also it remains open question whether they properly credit the sales sent to them, and they had been unable to provide any evidence to the contrary--other than just being more insistant that they pay correctly. I used to participate in this affiliate program but then they lost their paypal account and the affiliate manager could not write the checks himself so he left the company, the person now running the program is the owner of Movixo. Movixo was paying out to member using paypal, nice and easy for payments however paypal doesnt allow payments of adult industry nature so they terminated the movixo paypal account. Suddenly I stopped getting checks, they were posted on my account but were never mailed. With the help of the affiliate manager before he quit he saw to it that a check was fedex'd to me, however the check was not for the whole period instead it was for just one of the back payments. I have about 3 months of no payments received. When I made this site I finally pulled the ads on my site. I talked to the old affiliate manager and he said that the owner advised him that he doesnt owe me any money, i havent had any new signups and all my prior signups had canceled.
